Not all water pickup is equal — a shop vac and a truck-mount extraction unit produce very different outcomes on the same flooded room.
We classify every loss as Category 1, 2, or 3 before extraction begins, then document readings throughout the job.
Truck-mount extraction is standard equipment on every Castro Valley, CA call, not an upgrade.
We identify the contamination category before extraction to determine the correct safety protocol.
Saving original hardwood is possible with the right extraction method applied quickly.
You get documented proof of extraction progress, not just a technician's word.
Getting water out is only useful if it's done with the right classification and the right tools — here's our Castro Valley process.
We deploy truck-mount pumps for anything beyond a small, contained spill.
We determine contamination level first, since blackwater requires PPE and disposal steps clean water doesn't.
Weighted extraction tools pull water trapped deep in carpet fiber that a surface pass would miss.
This specialty method can save original hardwood that would otherwise require full tear-out.
Extraction continues below the surface layer whenever subfloor readings show trapped moisture.
Every job closes with a written extraction report showing before-and-after moisture readings.
Tell our Castro Valley, CA dispatcher what happened so the right extraction equipment gets loaded.
A technician heads out immediately with truck-mount or portable units as needed.
Category testing and a written estimate come before any pump starts running.
We don't sign off until logged readings hit the target, not just until it looks dry.
"They saved our hardwood floor with an injection drying method instead of ripping it all out. Saved us thousands." — Owen R.
"The moisture readings they gave us before and after made the whole process feel legitimate, not just a guess." — Bianca V.
"Truck-mount extraction cleared our flooded basement way faster than the shop vac approach a different company tried first." — Malik J.
Water Extraction includes Category classification, documented moisture readings, and specialty methods like injection drying, not just pumping.
If caught early enough, hardwood can frequently be saved with specialty extraction rather than replacement.
Category 1 is clean water, Category 2 is gray water with some contamination, and Category 3 is sewage or blackwater requiring full PPE.
You'll receive documented extraction logs suitable for insurance or your own records.
We prioritize speed specifically because extraction timing affects final outcomes.
Documented reports are standard and can be provided directly to your adjuster on request.
If you're in or near Castro Valley, an extraction crew can typically respond the same day.
